[Day 2] Long Travel Day + A Theory On My Problematic Refrigerator
Day 2. We made our way up into North Carolina. Covered a lot of ground and landed at the Lumberton/I-95 KOA just a bit over the southern border.
The KOA is pretty basic and had several things still under some construction. At the time, it had been recently acquired by new ownership and they were in the process of resurrecting it. It looked like it had been abandoned before they took it over. But, it served our purposes just fine since we were only there for an overnighter.
And I have a theory about what might be going on with the refrigerator.
Hint: It ended up not being the correct theory, but I give myself a good solid “B” for effort. 😉
